Far From the Madding Crowd by Thomas Hardy.

Favourite museum?
The Metropolitan Museum of Art in Manhattan.​

Best performance?
The Book of Mormon on Broadway.

What is your most treasured possession?
A turtle shell given to me by a good friend when we were very young.

What work(s) of art inspire you?
Caravaggio’s painting The Seven Works of Mercy, The Rose by Jay DeFeo, and Artemisia Gentileschi’s Esther Before Ahasuerus.

A lightbulb moment?
Reading “Wild Geese”, by Mary Oliver, “You only have to let the small animal of your body love what it loves”.

Guilty pleasure?
Ben & Jerry’s Cherry Garcia ice cream!

What would you like to be doing right now?
Wandering around Galway at the arts festival.
