Creative Tech Club
This season’s Creative Tech Club will look at the human body, our relationship with food and the mind blowing science that happens in our bellies! We’ll be combining items like butter, chocolate and milk
with paint, paper and clay to create the most unusual and exciting of artworks with the help of scientific equipment. Working with artist Angela Gilmour, participants will use leading STEAM learning techniques to create imaginative artworks. So whether you are a budding artist or future scientist we invite you to join us on this journey of madcap experimentation.

Art Club Senior: Painting the Pantry
Our Senior Community programme is dedicated to involving seniors in all kinds of activities in the gallery with an emphasis on social, fun and creative encounters. Through courses, tours, concerts and screenings, this programme is a reminder that art is an ongoing passion. In Spanish Art a bodegón is a still life painting set in a kitchen or pantry that depicts game, drinks, and other types of food. This season we are inviting Art Club Seniors to create a still life painting of a Cork kitchen focusing on the food products and drinks that are unique to the county. Starting from the early preparatory drawings right through to the finishing touches you’ll be guided by artist Kevin Mooney in the techniques to create a finished oil painting.
